At TCL, we're all about the tennis. Our members are upper intermediate to advanced, so sessions are competitive and everyone gets a good game.
Tennis is followed by pub drinks for those who want to join – everyone is welcome!

02 / The level
Love the game,
not the scoreline
We love tennis, but we don't take matches too seriously. This is casual, and the aim is to have fun. Having a good sporting attitude is just as important as your level.
Serve
You serve consistently, using a chopper grip.
Rally
You can have baseline exchanges using varied pace and spin.
Volley
You hit forehand and backhand volleys confidently.
Doubles IQ
You know where to stand, how to close a point and how to play fairly.

Can I come on my own?+
Yes! The club exists to help similar standard players find each other, so if you're new to London, looking for new tennis partners, or fancy a change, please come along.
What courts do you play on?+
We play at Eel Brook Common on a Wednesday night from 7-9pm.
How do I know if this is the right level for me?+
You should be able to serve consistently and confidently rally from the baseline, using pace and spin.
Will you have beginner games too?+
Eventually, we hope to host beginner – lower intermediate level sessions too. Whatever your level, feel free to join our social drinks afterwards – everyone is welcome!
What should I bring?+
Just yourself and your tennis racquet. We'll provide the rest.
